Romans 8:28 declares: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” This promise from God does not declare that all things are good. It declares that all things work together for good to them that love God. Twenty-four years ago today the Lord saw fit to take my father to his heavenly home when I was only fifteen years old. That sure was hard trying to figure out how to grow up to be a man without a father. I rebelled against God and was bitter against Him for taking my father away from me. Soon after my father passed away I got involved in all sorts of things that I should not have. Thankfully, the Lord called me by His grace and revealed Christ unto me just before I turned twenty-one. I then found a church that was preaching the Word of God, God called me into the ministry, I met my wife in Missouri at a bible conference, I have four children and I have now been in the ministry for 16 years. I currently pastor New Testament and I would not want to be anywhere else in the world. There has been a lot of things come into my life that I would not call good. But, my great God, has taken all the bad things and has led me to where I am. It has all worked together for my good! God is truly the Great Chemist. To Him be all the glory!
