In the beginning of Psalm 27 David speaks about his enemies that were encamped round about him. During this time of trouble he then goes into God’s house to seek the Lord and to enquire of Him. After David does this he says in verse 6 that now his head would be lifted up and that he would worship the Lord. The next two verses give us some insight as to what David learned in his “time of trouble.” David is looking back in those two verses to when he cried out unto the Lord in his time of trouble and realizes that God was saying “seek ye my face.” Are you in a time of trouble? Understand this very important lesson. God is saying to you, “Seek ye my face.” My friend…in times of trouble, seek the face of God. He is there to be found of all those who would look for Him.
