Lift Him Up

Have you ever noticed how the things that are high seem to catch your eye and attention. The aircraft flying over your head, the young boy flying his kite, the skyscraper, the big mountain, the tall billboard, all of these draw the attention of our eye as we travel down the road. As a Christian my desire is for people to see the Lord Jesus Christ. If I want this to happen through my life and see people come to Christ then I must lift Him up high for all to see. Jesus said in John 12:32, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” Without a doubt Jesus was making special reference to the cross of Calvary where He would be suspended between heaven and earth to be our mediator between us and the Father. We are taught a principle in this also. When Jesus is lifted up, people are drawn to Him. Do you have those in your life that you want to see come to Christ? Then lift Him up dear friend. You cannot lift Him up on the cross because He will never be there ever again. But, you can proclaim His glorious work that He accomplished at Calvary, how He rose again from the grave and then ascended up to Heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father to make intercession for His people. Exalt and magnify Christ with your words and your life. When people begin to wonder why you do what you do then be quick to give the glory to Jesus for  His great grace upon your life. Lift Him up so that others will be drawn to Him. Brag on Jesus as much as you can!
